How to see how many people are playing a Roblox game

Open the game on Roblox and read the Active number. To see the same count with its history, search for the game on RoRadar.

  1. Type the game's name into the search on the RoRadar homepage.
  2. Open the game. Online now is the number of people playing it.
  3. Scroll to History to see how the count changed, if RoRadar records that game.
  4. Tap Save to compare the numbers on your next visit. No account is needed.

Open the game's page on Roblox. The Active number next to Favorites and Visits is the number of people playing.

Is the player count live?

RoRadar reads it from Roblox's public API. A page can be a few minutes old because it is cached, and each game page shows when its numbers were fetched.

Why does the number differ from the Roblox page?

Player counts change every second, and the two pages may have read the number at different moments.

Can I see how a player count changed over time?

Yes, for the games RoRadar records. Their game pages show a history chart built from hourly snapshots. Nothing is back-filled or estimated.

How many people are playing Roblox in total?

RoRadar does not report a total for all of Roblox. The player report shows a sample: the most played games in each genre.
